Do I need to know how to swim?
No, all of our take-offs and landings are done from a platform on the boat. You do not even have to get wet at all if you don’t want to. In the extremely rare case of a boat malfunction, you will slowly drift into the water, where your mandatory life jackets will keep you afloat.
What is the minimum age requirement to fly?
We fly children as young as 6 years old!
What should I wear?
We recommend wearing comfortable beach attire. Bathing suits are not mandatory but are recommended. It is always a good idea to either wear a UV protected shirt or put sunscreen on before we depart as you will be out on the ocean under the warm Florida sunshine.
Can I bring my own camera?
If you’d like you can bring your own camera, our staff members are not responsible for any lost items for the duration of your trip. We offer a photo package for your convenience so you don’t have to worry about your camera getting wet and you can fully enjoy your parasailing experience! We have had several guests lose their cameras to the ocean so please be aware of the risk associated with bringing your personal cameras.
Can I parasail if I’m pregnant?
We allow woman in their first trimester to parasail at their own discretion. After their first semester we recommend that you come back after the baby is born for the saftey of both you and the baby.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to your scheduled reservation for you to receive a full refund. Any cancellations made by guests within that 48 hour window will be charged full price unless an agreement is made to reschedule your trip. 100% refunds will be issued to guests if Get Wet Watersports cancels due to weather or unfortunate circumstance.
Is it customary to tip the crew?
Yes! our staff works for the generosity of your gratuities. Our crew works hard to make sure you have a fun, safe, and memorable experience, anything you can leave our parasail staff is greatly appreciated.
Do I need to make a reservation?
Yes. Reservations are required to guarantee a spot on the boat for you and your party.
Can I go up with someone else?
Yes, we can fly 2-3 people at a time. We don’t normally allow single flyers due to the minimum weight limit of 125 pounds.
